The antique Black Lacquer Bird and Floral designs "Garden Stool" is in excellent condition. The table has unique bird and floral designs.  It is likely to have been made in the late 1800s or early 1900s when the design was popular for use on cigarette boxes, large bowls, small bowls, and similar items. It is done in a satin finish instead of the usual high gloss. The bird and floral designs are slightly recessed and then filled in with color. Can be placed at the sides or in front of a sofa as a coffee table.
